🛠️ Role Overview:
As a Machine Guidance Support/Hotline Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission, ensuring seamless installation and providing top-notch support for our cutting-edge machine guidance solutions. This hybrid role combines field-based and remote assistance responsibilities, where your self-initiative and impeccable time management will be put to the test.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Master the art of installing, calibrating, and setting up iDig’s machine guidance products.
Be the go-to expert for technical field support and troubleshooting of all machine guidance systems.
Empower new operators with basic system training after installation.
Document technical events and issues to enhance our support capabilities.
Develop a deep understanding of our 2D and 3D product suites.
📚 Education & Background:
Industry-driven qualification or equivalent work experience in machine control/guidance.
Familiarity with Survey/Construction instruments (GPS, Laser, etc. preferred).
Stellar communication skills – verbal and written.
Ability to grasp technical and mechanical aspects of construction machinery.
Thrive under pressure, both technically and time-wise.
Passion for technology and evolving software trends.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
A valid driver’s license.
