iDig wins Innovation and Safety award at Libramont 2023

iDig wins the  Innovation and Safety award at Libramont 2023. This industry award recognizes the most innovative and safe product of the year for the whole of Belgium at Libramont, an agricultural, forestry and agri-food fair which is also Europe’s largest outdoor trade show. Every year, it welcomes some 200,000 visitors, 700 exhibitors and 4,000 brands to a 200,000 m² site.

The jury reconized iDig as the winner for the following reasons:

  • The iDig exacavator guidance system enables all operators to carry out all their work with the utmost precision, from their cabs, without the need for a grade checker. This means less risk on the worksite and no more accidents at the bottom of trenches. No more aching joints because you don’t have to keep getting in and out of the cab.
  • iDig offers the only excavator guidance system that can be upgraded to meet the needs of the excavator operator. Thanks to this, the operator can upgrade his CONNECT 2D system to CONNECT 3D and take his own surveys, make layouts and even create a small plan in the guidance system’s control box.
  • iDig also offers a single GNSS (GPS) in 3D, whereas other market players require two for good precision. This GNSS, called Spotman, can also be detached from the excavator for use on site for layout and terrain surveys. iDig CONNECT is therefore 3 in 1!
  • By offering both 2D and 3D on a single guidance system, if the excavator operator loses network reception, which can happen on some sites, work continues on in 2D without wasting time.

iDig is proud to be recognized by the industry for innovation and safety, particularly through its CONNECT range.
